Kerrisdale is a quaint, serene, family oriented neighborhood. It primarily appeals to families, thanks to the amount of single family, detached homes it offers. Affluent homes fill its tree lined streets while the Kerrisdale village provides convenience to the upper-middle class residents of the neighborhood.
Despite its idyllic setting for family life, seniors and students taking advance of the neighborhood's proximity to the University of British Columbia populate the area. The average household income here is almost double that of Vancouver. There are some apartments though most homes are detached houses. Simply put, the neighborhood is well established with just a handful of new homes and apartments. Fortunately for the most part, they are all beautifully designed, spacious and offer easy access to amenities.

There is also a Canada Line stop at Oakridge for those who wish to connect to Vancouver International Airport or the Downtown Vancouver area within minutes. Biking is a good experience anywhere within the neighborhood, courtesy of safe bicycle lanes. That said and done, getting around the neighborhood is always easy and fun.
