Search North Vancouver Apartments
North Vancouver possesses some of the nicest neighborhoods and sights in the Vancouver metropolitan area. While not as expensive as West Vancouver, it is still quite nice, to the point that some outsiders may consider the area a bit upscale and luxurious. Nevertheless, the somewhat higher cost and perception of luxury still lends credence to the idea that it is one of the nicer – and more desirable – areas of the city. Houses for rent in North Vancouver can be pricier than other parts of town, but provide an added measure of security and safety along with the somewhat chic reputation.
The neighborhoods of North Vancouver are largely populated with middle-class families. As a result, the neighborhood is widely populated with houses rather than apartments for rent in North Vancouver. That does not mean there are no areas with North Vancouver apartments for rent, however. The areas of Central Lonsdale and Lower Lonsdale are well populated with high-rise residential buildings that offer numerous apartments for rent in North Vancouver. While not available at bargain-basement prices, the Lonsdale neighborhoods still offer value for the location compared to other parts of the Vancouver metropolitan area. Furthermore, attractions such as the Centennial Theater or the North Vancouver Museum are within a short walk of these neighborhoods.
When searching for North Vancouver houses for rent, areas near the Burrard Inlet provide the nicest views for new residents. While these views come at a price, the area is fairly low in crime and on the rise in terms of shops and community spaces. Of course, the views of the nearby mountains and their easy accessibility are a key attraction as well when looking for North Vancouver houses for rent. Waterfront Park and Ship Builders Square both are attractive locations for visitors.
